Another mini-shoot of my daughter. But when she's this cute, who can blame me. I wanted some photographs of her for my blog post and she doesn't like to cooperate at all. I thought how can I make this fun for her? I dug out a bed sheet chucked it over our heads and started playing peekaboo. She loved it and we spent a good 10 minutes playing around before she got bored of the idea and ran of to play with the toy car she stole from her Nanny's house. But I really love these and they are definitely being printed out for the wall. They're just too cute not to. I think I've already convinced my sister to let take photographs of my nephews like this. I wonder how cooperative they'll be?
If you would like a family shoot, like this or on location get in touch.
Weddings are normally booked month in advance. I already having bookings for 2018. But when a friend of the bride emailed me to ask if I would be free 2 weeks from that day, I knew it was a special one. The couple had planned to get married in 2017 but due to a family member being seriously ill the wedding was moved a year forward. The couple, friends and family all rallied together and the wedding was planned in 2 weeks. Don't tell the bride has nothing on this couple. I knew the day was going to be absolutley beautiful and it didn't dissapoint.
3rd September 2016
I met Louise at sixthform. We were both studying photography and we were the only two people in our class. That kind of meant we had to get to know each other. Luckily we got on really well and really enjoyed our year together.
Louise told me that when she started to plan her wedding there was one person in mind from the start and that was me. Ahhh. You know how to make me feel loved.
I arrived at the house Louise was getting ready at nice and early. Louise had popped out to have her hair re-done as it didn't go the way she had planned. Luck really wasn't on her and Chris's side. That week that had lots of things go wrong, not what you need on your wedding week. But it didn't matter as they would be getting married and that's what mattered most.
Louise was helped into her dress by her lovely chief bridesmaid and her Grandma. Oh the dress was beautiful. It fitted Louise perfectly and the lace detailing on the back was so beautiful. Time started to slip away from us and before we knew it it was time to get to the venue.
